An Annual Conference of European Society of Criminology was held in Sarajevo from August 29th until September 1st 2018. An official title of this year’s Conference was „Crimes against Humans and Crimes against Humanity, Implications for Modern Criminology“. ESC strives to encourage an international collaboration in the field of criminology. One important activity is organizing annual conferences each year in different European countries. This year, the honour to organise such a conference belonged to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Faculty for criminalistics, criminology and safety studies University of Sarajevo. Around 1400 participants from 70 countries participated at the Conference with almost 1000 presentations on over 300 panels. Violence Research Lab has participated with 2 panels (CROVIMO 1 AND CROVIMO 2), and total of 8 presentations from 5 research members.
