Born in 1978 in Livno, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He graduated at the Higher Police School (Police Academy in Zagreb) in 2001. He obtained his doctoral degree in criminal law at the Faculty of Law in Zagreb with a doctoral dissertation “A Criminological and Criminal Law Analysis of Prostitution in Croatia”. He has great experience in the field of law enforcement sector, and from 2018. he is a Lecturer at Police Collage in Zagreb. Since 2016 he is a member of the Max Planck Partner Group for Balkan Criminology at the Faculty of Law in Zagreb and since 2018 he is an associate at the HRZZ project “Croatian Violence Monitor" at the Faculty of Law in Zagreb. The main field of scientific interest is focused on substantive criminal law issues, especially on corruption and organized Crime.
