Prof. Dr. Davor Derenčinović, Chair of Violence Lab’s Scientific Advisory Board, is elected as a judge of the ECHR

Prof. Dr. Davor Derenčinović, Ph.D., Chair of Violence Lab’s Scientific Advisory Board, Head of the Department of Criminal Law at the Zagreb Faculty of Law, President of the Croatian Academy of Legal Sciences and President of the Council of Europe Group of Experts on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings is elected as a judge at the European Court of Human Rights. Prof. Derenčinović obtained an absolute majority of votes from lists of three candidates proposed by each State. For the next nine years (starting January 2022), Prof. Derenčinović will enact this extremely important duty. We hereby congratulate Prof. Derenčinović for this remarkable success which came as a crown of his flawless career, previous work and commitment.
