Chair of Violence Lab’s advisory board elected as GRETA’s President

Prof. Dr. Davor Derenčinović, Chair of Violence Lab’s scientific advisory board, who is Professor of Criminal Law and Head of the Chair for Criminal Law at University of Zagreb’s Law faculty, has been elected GRETA’s President. The Group of Experts on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings (GRETA) is responsible for monitoring the implementation of the Council of Europe Convention on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings by the Parties. Not only is this a well-deserved recognition of Prof. Dr. Derenčinović’s commitment to GRETA’s work and his international expertise in THB-issues, but it also vividly documents Violence Lab’s strong involvement with renowned scholars and leading institutions when it comes to the protection of particularly vulnerable groups of victims.

The Violence Lab congratulates Prof. Dr. Derenčinović on his elections as GRETA’s President and thus compliments GRETA for its excellent decision.
